¡Hoy volamos lejíiiisimos! Y es que nos desplazamos 2700 kilómetros hasta Helsinki (Finlandia) para visitar a nuestro alumnoMarcos City, coursing “Audiovisuals and Shows Production“. Marcos performs mobility Samuel Bernad, another partner of the training cycle “Audiovisual and Shows“, and we know that they are learning a lot. Let's see what Mark tells us.
¡Hola Marcos! Gracias por atendernos hoy. Please tell us, Where are you doing your Internship placement?
I am doing my internship in Helsinki, en una productora audiovisual especializada en el área de pos-producción.
What tasks are you going to do, or have you already done?
Mis tareas en la empresa consisten en buscar clientes y hablar con distintas distribuidoras españolas para exhibir sus productos audiovisuales en Finlandia. I also help in editing video and soon I will take care of the shooting schedule for a marathon to be held in Helsinki.
Here we see working in the company Marcos
Why did you decide to take an Erasmus + placement?
I wanted to try to live for a while in another country, but above all to improve my English and experience.
What kind of accommodation have you got? How did you get it?
As it was very difficult to find an apartment at a reasonable price and some websites are only in Finnish floor I found time and 2 first weeks I stayed in a hostel. Durante esas dos semanas me dedique a buscar piso por Internet y finalmente encontré uno en Kilo (Espoo), a 15 minute train ride from central Helsinki
What have you found most striking so far?
Snow in May is crazy.
Have you already visited somewhere nearby?
I visited Taillín and soon will go to Stockholm.
What advice would you give to your colleagues who are thinking of applying for an Erasmus+ placement next year?
I did not hesitate one second, the experience is worth.
Summarize your experience so far in one sentence:
The options are endless Helsinki offers
Thank you very much, Marcos! Y muchas gracias por enviar una foto. Esperamos que continuéis aprendiendo y disfrutando… y que no volváis a ver nevar en lo que os queda de movilidad.
